Mnangagwa Fires Deputy Minister Bhila
Harare | Roy Bhila, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, has been sacked by President Mnangagwa, effective immediately.
The event was verified by a statement issued yesterday by Dr. Martin Rushwaya, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet.
But the grounds behind his dismissal were not immediately clear.
According to the statement, Hon. Roy Bhila has been removed from the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce with immediate effect in accordance with Section 108(1a) of the Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 20) Act by His Excellency, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde Dr. Emmerson D.
