The Zimbabwe Warriors are gearing up for a crucial clash against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) Qualifiers tomorrow. The match is set to kick off at 18:00 hours in Uganda.
This encounter comes after the Warriors’ draw against Kenya in their first Group J match last Friday, also held in Uganda. Due to the lack of certified FIFA-approved stadiums in their respective countries, both Zimbabwe and Kenya have been using Uganda as their alternative home ground for the qualifiers.
The Warriors will be looking to secure their first win of the campaign against a formidable Cameroon side, making this a pivotal match in their quest to qualify for the 2024 Afcon tournament.
Meanwhile, Cameroon secured a one nil win over Namibia. The win took them top of the group with three point. Therre are followed by Kenya who are on level points with Zimbabwe with each natioan having one point.
Namibia are bottom of the group with zero points. In other group J match, Namibia will be taking on Kenya closing up the group.
