The Zimbabwe Football Association has confirmed that the Warriors will travel to England this May for the Unity Cup 2026.
The four-nation tournament will be held at The Valley Stadium in London from May 26 to May 30. It marks the first time the team will compete in a tournament of this scale on English soil.
The opening match is a semi-final clash against Nigeria’s Super Eagles on May 26. A win would see the Warriors face either Jamaica or India in the final on May 30.
All matches kick off at 7:30 PM, giving Zimbabweans in the UK time to show their support.
ZIFA President Nqobile Magwizi described the tournament as a landmark opportunity for Zimbabwean football. Head Coach Marian Marinica sees it as a chance to test the squad against different playing styles.
Captain Marvelous Nakamba says the team is ready for the challenge. He added that playing in front of Zimbabwean supporters abroad makes the occasion even more special.
The Unity Cup returns to Charlton Athletic FC’s home for the first time since 2004.
Tickets start at £18, and fans are encouraged to turn out in full support. Even those who cannot play are expected to bring the noise and spirit of home.
