Gaborone United Signs Zimbabwean Striker

Botswana football club, Gaborone United, has secured the services of Zimbabwean striker Albert Nyamutsaka following a successful trial period. The 26-year-old, who was previously playing in the ZIFA Northern Region Division One with Golden Arrows, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Gaborone United.

In an official statement, the club confirmed the agreement, stating, “Gaborone United have reached an agreement with Zimbabwean Division 1 side, Golden Eagles, over the signature of striker Albert ‘Takudzwa’ Nyamutsaka.

Nyamutsaka joins Gaborone United on a two-and-a-half-year deal. The 26-year-old striker has scored six goals and made five assists from 16 games he has played for Division 1 side Golden Eagles.”

Head coach Pontsho Piro Moloi expressed his satisfaction with the new signing, saying, “I am very happy with him; he has done so well when he was on trial here last month. A very good addition for us in attack where we are lacking a bit.”

Albert Nyamutsaka’s move to Gaborone United marks an important step in his career, transitioning from the Zimbabwean Division One to the Botswana Premier League. The striker’s proven goal-scoring ability and contributions to Golden Eagles have earned him recognition, and Gaborone United sees him as a valuable asset to bolster their attacking options.
