Harare’s Unplugged Festival Lights Up the Night with Music, Food, and Festive Vibes

Harare, Zimbabwe | On a chilly Saturday, the First Capital Bank Sports Club came alive as Hararians defied the cold to attend the lively Unplugged Coca-Cola Foodfest. Despite the weather, the venue was packed, and the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation.

Kicking off the entertainment, Travellers Band delighted the audience with popular covers of iconic Zimbabwean songs by legends like Oliver Mtukudzi and James Chimombe, setting a warm and nostalgic tone for the evening.

Tamy Moyo then took the stage, infusing energy into the crowd with her dynamic performances and signature moves, keeping everyone on their feet with her string of hits, including the popular track “Kelly Kelevedhura.”

Killer T sustained the momentum, delivering a series of fan-favorite hits, and his latest song “Ndanyura” brought the crowd to a fever pitch, igniting enthusiastic dance moves. The evening peaked with a show-stopping performance by South African sensation Felo Le Tee, whose electrifying set left the audience in awe and marked the high point of the night.

Complementing the musical acts was a tempting selection of food that catered to diverse tastes. From succulent goat curry and spicy jerk chicken to a variety of grilled meats, traditional Zimbabwean dishes, and international street food, the event was a true feast for both the ears and the taste buds.

Headline acts including King 98, Takura, jazz artist Vera, and crowd-favorite Enzo Ishall added to the festival’s allure, each bringing their unique flair and crowd-pleasing hits.
