Harare, Zimbabwe | Zimbabwean rapper Mukudzei Chitsama, popularly known as Holy Ten, has set social media ablaze after posting audio recordings of his conversation with businessman and socialite Sir Wicknell Chivhayo.
The exchange, which has gone viral, reveals Holy Ten firmly rejecting a Mercedes-Benz GLE that Sir Wicknell offered him as a reward for his support of the ruling party, ZANU PF.
In the leaked conversation, Holy Ten is heard addressing the controversial offer. He bluntly expressed dissatisfaction with the proposed gift, describing it as inadequate and even insulting. “Buying me a GLE is an insult,” the rapper fumed, adding that his expectations for any such gift would start at a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, a much pricier luxury SUV.
Holy Ten, who admitted he isn’t fond of typing, chose a direct and frank approach in addressing Sir Wicknell during the call. His apparent irritation left no room for ambiguity, as he rejected the gift outright and criticized the underlying intentions behind it.
Following the leak, Holy Ten took the feud to his Instagram account, where he shared screenshots of the conversations with Sir Wicknell. He captioned the posts:
“@sir_wicknell you think you’re clever? You can’t buy me nemota bro. Takasimbisa musangano coz taitoda!!”
The statement suggests that Holy Ten’s support for ZANU PF was driven by personal conviction rather than material incentives. His rejection of the vehicle and public airing of the situation has sparked mixed reactions, with some applauding his stance while others question his motives.

Social media users have been divided over the unfolding saga. Some praised Holy Ten for standing firm and refusing to be “bought,” interpreting the gesture as a stand against materialism.
Others, however, found his demand for a G-Wagon ironic, accusing him of hypocrisy.
Sir Wicknell has yet to issue an official response to the controversy. Known for his flamboyant lifestyle and public gestures, the businessman may choose to defend his intentions or further escalate the spat.
