Mavuradonha, Zimbabwe – Spanning over 600 square kilometers of the eastern part of the Zambezi Escarpment, Mavuradonha offers a unique blend of natural beauty, rich history, and cultural significance.

Mavuradonha, translating to “Land of Falling Water” in Shona, is a breathtaking wilderness area in northern Zimbabwe.

Why You Should Visit Mavuradonha

  1. Stunning Landscapes: The region is known for its rugged terrain, featuring heavily wooded granite outcrops and the bare, grass-covered slopes of the Great Dyke Range. Numerous streams and rivers, including the Musengezi River, cut through the mountains, creating stunning waterfalls and deep gorges.
